Thai Taste is the first Thai restaurant I ever visited and has since become one of my all-time favorite Thai restaurants in the Indy area. It’s one of those places that is consistently great to the point that you start to take it for granted. Located in a Castleton strip mall, it’s a tiny, unassuming place that you’d easily miss if you’re not looking for it, but it’s a real gem.
After months of hearing nothing but rave reviews about Provision, I just had to check this place out! Luckily, Christmas Eve was the perfect time to try this fairly new Indy restaurant.
Newfields Winterlights was an unexpectedly entertaining holiday experience! After seeing other photos of the event, I didn’t think there would be more than some decorated trees, but it was much, much more than that.
2017 marked the 32nd year of IPL Yuletide Celebration performances, and I was curious to finally find out why people are so excited about this event that they attend year after year. Tickets to the show sell out fast, so I was prepared this time and was able to snag decent end-of-row seats by purchasing tickets in September for the December 9th performance.
If you’re looking for a fun, free holiday event, but want to avoid the crowds of the larger cities nearby, the annual Fortville Winterfest is the place to go. Held on the first Saturday in December and located near Fishers, it’s not too far of a drive for Indy residents and is the perfect way to spend a Saturday kicking off the holiday season with family or friends.
