It’s been ages since I was last in Nashville, Tennessee and I was excited to have a couple of days to explore the city. I visited in late January, so it was a little colder than I’d like, but the cold also meant fewer tourists, which worked in my favor into getting into restaurants, bars, and museums in record time.
As long as I’ve lived in Indy, I can’t believe I hadn’t made it to City Market before. A hub of local artisans, Indianapolis City Market a fantastic one-stop destination for a variety of goods, from jewelry to beer to French pastries.
Having been in the mood for something light, but something other than the normal lunch fare in Broad Ripple, Petite Chou Bistro was the perfect early afternoon stop.
The allure of The Cake Bake Shop is a combination of the general atmosphere, decor & the desserts — flowers all over the place, glittery cakes, and pink-colored, sparkly everything makes The Cake Bake Shop it’s own special, magical place to escape to for delectable sweets in the Indianapolis area.
Thai Taste is the first Thai restaurant I ever visited and has since become one of my all-time favorite Thai restaurants in the Indy area. It’s one of those places that is consistently great to the point that you start to take it for granted. Located in a Castleton strip mall, it’s a tiny, unassuming place that you’d easily miss if you’re not looking for it, but it’s a real gem.
