After seeing endless photos on Instagram of all of the amazing entrees Taxman produces, I just had to check this place out! I get the feeling that this will be a popular spot once people catch on to how cool of a place it is, so I wanted to get in while it was still not on the radar for a lot of people yet.
The Covered Bridge Festival is an event that I’ve been meaning to attend for years, and always seem to miss it. This year, I made a point to finally check it out and spent a few hours on an unusually warm October afternoon walking around the festival area in Bridgeton.
A visit to Indianapolis Home-a-Rama has become an annual event and is a great way to see beautiful homes and get inspiration for design and decor for your own space. Usually held in the Westfield area, the Home-a-Rama features a number of custom-built homes that are open to view. This year’s Home-a-Rama was held in The Lakes at Grassy Branch in Westfield and featured a total of 5 houses. Tickets to the event ran $15 – $18.
Located in Westfield, the Rail Epicurean is housed in a converted multi-level barn and has a cool, laid-back vibe. I’m not exactly how I first found out about Rail Epicurean, but I’m definitely glad that I did.
After a spectacular day of exploring Savannah for my birthday, I was ready for some downtime on the beach. Unfortunately for me, winds were at around 25-30 mph and the sky was overcast on the first of my two planned lazy beach days, so instead of laying on the beach, I ended up just doing some exploring.
