While flavored vinegar and olive oil may not seem all that exciting at first glance, my eyes were opened to how amazing fresh olive oil is and the range of flavors that balsamic vinegar mixes with to compliment both main dishes and desserts at a little shop in Denver. Since then, I’ve hoped to similarly unique olive oil and balsamic vinegar shop closer to home, and found just that at Zionsville Olive Tap!
Since Cunningham Restaurant Group has never done me wrong when it comes to dining around Indy, I was excited to check off yet another Cunningham restaurant off the list to try. This year’s Home-A-Rama featured some great homes! I was hoping for much more modern farmhouse decor inspo (like some of last year’s Home-A-Rama homes), and though there were some houses with that style on the outside, the inside didn’t quite reflect that as much as I hoped. In any case, there were definitely design elements of each house that I loved and can see incorporating into my own decor in some way. Here are some of my favorite elements of the 6 Home-A-Rama houses:
Yet another place I’ve had bookmarked forever on Yelp, and never gotten around to trying… until now! Devour Indy was, once again, the perfect excuse to check another restaurant — Salt on Mass — off of my ever-growing restaurants-to-try list.
You know what’s better than trying a brand-new restaurant? Trying a restaurant that’s been open for six months. As much as I’ve been dying to eat at Hedge Row since it opened, I was happy I waited until the newness wore off and the fanfare about the place died down before checking it out, and this summer’s Devour Indy was the perfect excuse to head downtown to try it.
