The Majestic Circle Island Tour was a great way to get an overview of Oahu in a short amount of time. Through there were a lot of drive-by-only situations for places like Sandy Beach, Rabbit Island, Chinaman’s Hat, Waimea Bay and Turtle Beach, there were also plenty of stops where we were given time to take photos, hike and walk around.
Since I couldn’t even remember the last time I’d been to Washington DC, sometime long ago when I was a kid, I decided that it was a great time to visit everything I possibly could over the course of a day. And Viator’s Washington DC in One Day Tour was the perfect way to do it!
I found the Ultimate Mountain Tour on Trip Advisor. At just around 8 hours long and heading out from Denver, it was the perfect amount of time to spend outdoors exploring, and I got lucky that during an otherwise rainy and showy trip, on the day of this tour in late April, the weather was sunny and warm.
Some people I talked to before I went on the trip couldn’t believe I’d pay the $1,400 for a group travel experience when I could have done it on my own for cheaper, but, in reality, traveling with Expat Explore was cheaper for me as a single traveler than on my own. Also, I’m the type of person that hates to travel alone, so paying just to have some company would have been worth it for me. I’m also the type of person who isn’t fond of being in charge of travel plans, so having the logistics mapped out was an invaluable benefit.
