Auberge, a little French restaurant inside Brick Street Inn in Zionsville, has been on my radar since it first heard of it, and nearly a year later I was finally in the area and able to check it out during the Brick Street Market.
There was a brunch menu in effect at the time I visited, and we ended up ordering the Duck Pastrami Hash, Lemon Blueberry Crepes, and Bacon & Egg Croissant Sandwich. The hash was perfectly seasoned and came topped with an over-easy egg and I’d probably switch to scrambled eggs if I had the same dish again.
The blueberry crepes were fresh and flavorful, just a bit smaller of a portion than I was expecting. The croissant sandwich, which included locally-sourced thick-cut bacon and white cheddar, was very large and delicious.
I enjoyed my first visit here for brunch and look forward to a repeat visit during dinnertime to sample some other menu items here. If you are able to get out here for a visit during the warmer months, make sure you sit on the patio to enjoy the gorgeous view of Zionsville’s Main Street.
