I had the pleasure of being invited to this year’s VIP & Media event and had a blast getting a sneak peek into everything that’s been added to or improved from last year’s Carmel Christkindlmarkt experience. So much so, that it inspired me to write this impromptu blog post because there were a lot of things I’m excited to share before opening day this Saturday November 17th!
While flavored vinegar and olive oil may not seem all that exciting at first glance, my eyes were opened to how amazing fresh olive oil is and the range of flavors that balsamic vinegar mixes with to compliment both main dishes and desserts at a little shop in Denver. Since then, I’ve hoped to similarly unique olive oil and balsamic vinegar shop closer to home, and found just that at Zionsville Olive Tap!
Since Cunningham Restaurant Group has never done me wrong when it comes to dining around Indy, I was excited to check off yet another Cunningham restaurant off the list to try. I was able to check out Provision last year and was blown away. It took me a year to get next door to Rize, but better late than never.
I was so lucky to have had The Best of Hawaii’s Best Kitchens food festival happen to fall during the time of my visit to the Waikiki Area! With the combined benefit of a Groupon, by which I was able to get VIP access for $20 off, I was able to enjoy early admission, get a free souvenir photo and a fun goody bag in addition to the delicious food options.
Yet another place I’ve had bookmarked forever on Yelp, and never gotten around to trying… until now! Devour Indy was, once again, the perfect excuse to check another restaurant — Salt on Mass — off of my ever-growing restaurants-to-try list.
