This month marks 4 years since I bought my house (and the longest time I’ve lived in any one place) and I thought I’d commemorate it by posting some before and after photos and some info on the improvements I’ve made so far… because it was originally a hot mess of low-end builder grade finishes. And now, it’s a lot less of a hot mess, though there are still lots of projects left to tackle!

I’ve been on the lookout for some unique furniture pieces, and after not finding anything at the usual stores, a visit to Midland Antiques Market was definitely in order. It’s one of those places I only think about a couple of times a year, but when I go, I can’t believe I don’t stop by more often!

This year’s show included the Centerpiece Home and Tiny Home Village, as well as the usual home and home decor-related vendors selling products and services.
Recently having bought a king-sized Sleep Number C4 mattress and having a rough first night’s sleep on it, I immediately googled for information from current users about how long it takes to get the bed adjusted for optimal sleep. There are some vague guidelines from Sleep number that it may take some time, but how long is that exactly? A week? Months?
