I’ve been coming to the Indianapolis Flower & Patio Show for the past several years and was curious to see what special events and landscape elements would reflect this year’s theme of celebrating the show’s 60th Anniversary.
Around Indy: Midland Arts & Antiques Market
I’ve been on the lookout for some unique furniture pieces, and after not finding anything at the usual stores, a visit to Midland Antiques Market was definitely in order. It’s one of those places I only think about a couple of times a year, but when I go, I can’t believe I don’t stop by more often!
Nashville Part 2: Music & Eats
It’s been ages since I was last in Nashville, Tennessee and I was excited to have a couple of days to explore the city. I visited in late January, so it was a little colder than I’d like, but the cold also meant fewer tourists, which worked in my favor into getting into restaurants, bars, and museums in record time.
Nashville Part 1: The Discover Nashville Tour
Knowing I’d only be in town a few days, one of which would be taken up by a conference, I wanted to experience as much of Nashville as I could in a short period of time. The Discover Nashville Tour was a great way to get a fast overview of the city as a newcomer.
Around Indy: City Market
As long as I’ve lived in Indy, I can’t believe I hadn’t made it to City Market before. A hub of local artisans, Indianapolis City Market a fantastic one-stop destination for a variety of goods, from jewelry to beer to French pastries.
